10 Toronto Street was once the host of Toronto’s seventh Post Office. The building was completed in 1853 on what was then a prominent street and operated as a Post office for a mere twenty years. It then served various government agencies including the Bank of Canada before falling into private hands in the middle of the twentieth century.
